Childcare Worker with Team Leader Responsibilities

Do you want to combine working with children with leadership responsibilities?

We are looking for an engaged and confident childcare worker or someone with equivalent experience who wants to take on a team leader role in our educational care.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the children while playing a key role in daily operations and being part of our team leader group.

About the position

As a childcare worker, you work in the children's group together with your colleagues. In addition, you have a team leader role where you are responsible for the daily operations of your unit.

You work together with two other team leaders who are responsible for our other operations. You share the same responsibilities and support each other in daily work together with the management.

Your responsibilities

• Work pedagogically with the children.
• Lead and distribute daily tasks within the unit.
• Be a support for colleagues in pedagogical work.
• Ensure that routines and working methods are followed.
• Plan and organize operations together with the work team.
• Collaborate closely with other team leaders and management.
• Contribute to the development and quality work of the operation.

We are looking for you who

• Are trained as a childcare worker or have equivalent experience working with children.
• Have good collaboration skills and are a natural leader.
• Are structured, responsible, and solution-oriented.
• Have a calm and pedagogical approach.
• Can inspire and create engagement among your colleagues.
• Have good skills in planning, prioritizing, and communicating.

Previous experience in a supervisory role is meritorious, but we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
