JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a respite caregiver to work in a private home for a child with supervision and care needs. Your role as a respite caregiver is to relieve family members in their home, which means that you temporarily take care of, supervise, and provide care for a child or youth with a disability. The hours granted for the child are distributed by agreement between you and the guardian, which may mean that work can take place during the day, evening, and weekends. The assignment concerns a school-aged child with a total of 48 hours per month.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Relevant education is desirable and meritorious, such as nursing education or pedagogical education. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an advantage. We are looking for someone who is caring, proactive, and empathetic. In our work, attitude and approach are important cornerstones, and you have a positive outlook and can perform the work independently. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
