Your tasks
The focus of the role is to work on motivation-building together with the clients. You will also work supportively in various areas such as housing, family, finances, and finding meaningful leisure activities. The role also includes performing health and medical interventions based on delegation and collaboration with several parties, including social services. To be able to support this vulnerable group, you have a relationship-building and stable approach. It is natural for you to see new opportunities in a complex life situation and to be determined and clear when required.
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone with a YH/KY education as a treatment assistant/social pedagogue or equivalent education. If you have education in addiction or mental disabilities, it is an advantage. You have good computer skills, and if you have previous experience with documentation, it is also an advantage. You will meet clients in difficult situations, so it is important that you have an empathetic ability and a willingness to help and find solutions.
A driver's license (B) is an advantage.
We offer
Within the Individual and Family Administration, support and housing are provided for people with various types of addiction problems and mental health issues. The unit consists of 10 housing units, a night patrol, and shelter places. Our target group is adults aged 21 and over with comorbidity. We have about 86 employees, including one unit manager, three department managers, and six team leaders. We are a workgroup with a strong commitment to the target group and care for each other. The unit's operations are characterized by development work and a team spirit that means we support each other. We see collaboration as a success factor.
