About the Workplace

We are looking for an engaged leisure leader for the Meeting Point in Sala – a meeting place for seniors that contributes to social community and meaningful leisure time.

The Culture and Leisure Unit conducts activities that promote both health and social community. This can include training, exercise classes, and other health-promoting activities, as well as social activities that create meetings, joy, and new relationships.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a leisure leader at the meeting point, you will plan, coordinate, and implement various activities for our seniors.

The role includes different types of activities, such as circuit training, balance training, excursions, musical entertainment, and other similar activities that create meaningful leisure time. We also acknowledge holidays and organize various themed days.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Previous experience in similar work with seniors or in leisure activities

Meritorious:

• Relevant education, such as in leisure, behavioral science, or training
• Experience leading activities
• Knowledge of health-promoting work

You as a person:

• Are social, attentive, and communicative
• Enjoy working with people
• Have a good work ethic and can work independently
• Have the ability to plan, implement, and adapt activities according to individual needs
• Are goal-oriented and want to contribute to the development of the organization
• Have good health and can perform physical activities

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
