The Role

Working as a personal assistant means ensuring that the user receives the support measures and assistance they are entitled to. The work takes place in the home and can include personal care, support with meals, and various health and medical tasks. You also assist with daily activities that contribute to creating an active and meaningful life for the user. Many tasks are practical and physical, and may involve heavy lifting and other work duties that require strength and agility.

Qualifications

Who are you? We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine interest in working within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and social psychiatry and wants to make a difference.
  • Has knowledge of neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF) and is familiar with low-arousal approaches and clarifying pedagogy.
  • Is flexible, engaged, and has a warm approach.
  • Values collaboration and has a positive attitude.
  • Has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • The position requires excellent command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is highly meritorious if you are a nursing assistant or have experience working with LSS or SoL (Social Services Act) social psychiatry, and hold a B driver's license.

It is important that you fit well with the user and can handle the tasks to be performed. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability; the user primarily wishes for female assistants.

An extract from the criminal register may be requested, as well as professional certification.

Scheduled working hours during the day and evening.
