At Job Center, the individual is in focus. We work in close collaboration with Social Services, the Employment Agency, the Social Insurance Agency, Region Västmanland, Adult Education, and the local business community. Participants' experiences and opinions are systematically taken into account in the development of the operations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Employment Consultant, you provide individualized and group-based support to people on their way to work or studies. You work in a team together with team leaders, curators, and other functions. The role is outward-facing and involves active work with employer contacts.

The job responsibilities include, among other things:

• mapping individuals' needs, resources, and goals
• coaching and motivating participants towards self-sufficiency
• actively working with employer contacts in both the public and private sectors
• matching participants to internships, work training, or jobs
• working according to the Supported Employment method
• following up and analyzing goals and results together with the team

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has a university degree as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent
• has experience in labor market issues
• has good pedagogical and communicative skills
• is independent, structured, and collaborative
• holds a valid driver's license (B)

Meritorious

• experience with Supported Employment
• experience working with individuals with dependency issues, long-term unemployment, or disabilities
• experience with the operational system Lifecare

Personal qualities

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and in a dynamic, outward-facing role with many contact points. You are relationship-building, proactive, and solution-focused, with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously. You are comfortable in meetings with both participants and employers and are eager to take an active role in creating new collaborations.
