About the workplace

With us, the investigator position is streamlined as we have social workers who follow up on the interventions you decide on together with the family.

You will meet social workers with high competence and a focus on children and youth. You will work closely with the reception group and those who follow up on outpatient interventions. There is a team leader for the reception and a team leader for the investigators. The team leaders lead and distribute the work and guide you. Here, you don't have to feel alone. There is always someone willing to support you in your work. The unit manager is also present in the unit's operations, with a door that is always open for employees.

For new employees, we offer a well-structured introduction that includes learning about BBIC and Signs of Safety.

The Child and Youth Unit's outpatient care is just a stone's throw away. The outpatient care is well-developed to meet individuals' needs for local solutions as far as possible.

Job responsibilities

As a social worker, you will be responsible for the authority's exercise for the target group of children aged 0-21 and their parents. The work is conducted from a systems-theoretical perspective, focusing on the resources, strengths, and risks present in the family and network. It is important to listen to and consider the family's own solutions, especially the child's own description of their situation. We value the child's/youth's participation and continuously strive to develop this. An important part of the work is to build relationships and motivate positive change to find individual solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in social work
• Experience working within social services and authority exercise for children and/or youth.
• Driver's license (B)

It is advantageous if you have:

• Good knowledge of BBiC and Signs of Safety

You have a knack for communicating in both speech and writing and can adapt your communication based on the situation's requirements. You are structured, self-driven, and have the ability to understand other people's perspectives or situations without taking over their feelings. You believe that collaboration is important and understand the role of authority. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Employment conditions

• 1 permanent full-time position and 1 temporary position during parental leave, full-time
• Working hours during the day, some evening work may occur
• Start date according to agreement
• Individual salary setting, probationary employment may apply
• Requirement: Driver's license (B)

Opportunity for remote work if the operations allow.

We offer a flexible working hours agreement, wellness allowance of 2000 SEK/year, or wellness allowance exchange for health check-ups. We will request an extract from the criminal record upon potential employment.
