About the Position

We are now looking for personal assistants for one of our male customers residing in Västerås.

Our customer is a 67-year-old man who, after a severe stroke over 10 years ago, needs assistance in his daily life.

As a personal assistant, you will support the customer in everything related to daily life, such as manual transfers, personal hygiene, household chores, and activities, both in and out of the home.

Details about the customer's daily life that are important to follow:

• The customer has aphasia and does not communicate verbally. He also has a very mild degree of epileptic irritation that occurs at most once a year.
• The customer loves to keep up with the news, enjoys sports and nature programs. He appreciates pleasant company and good food (seafood is at the top of the list).
• Regular light exercise is important for his well-being.
• The partner does not work outside the home and is one of the assistants.

About You

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships.

We are looking for a person who is:

• Social, secure, easy-going, and curious.
• Used to taking on significant responsibility.
• Patient.
• Preferably has a driver's license.
• Has a good sense of humor and is easy to laugh.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Finnish and/or Portuguese is a bonus.
• Flexible and willing to travel with our customer.
• Preferably has previous experience in healthcare.
• In good physical condition.

Work in the home of elderly persons or adults with disabilities is subject to background checks according to the Act (2026:43) on background checks for work in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities. Working Hours:

The shifts are mainly scheduled from 08:00 to 21:00. Night shifts may occur upon request but not according to a schedule. Travel with overnight stays may occur.

Employment Level:

Hourly substitute and summer substitute with a fixed summer schedule from week 24 to 33.
