JOB DESCRIPTION

Support Pedagogue within the Area of Functional Support

Your mission:

As a support pedagogue, you work closely with our users and colleagues to create a safe, structured, and developing everyday life. You are responsible for both individual support and overall pedagogical development.

You:

• Provide pedagogical and some practical support based on the users' implementation plans.
• Lead the pedagogical work and implement methods and working practices.
• Coach and support colleagues in everyday life to enhance the quality of the operations.
• Collaborate with other support pedagogues within the area of functional support.
• Document according to applicable legislation.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in functional support and knowledge of PFA, social documentation, and low-arousal responses.
• Is confident in themselves, responsible, and has a professional and humble approach.
• Is structured, initiative-taking, and flexible as the conditions in the work can change quickly.
• Finds it easy to collaborate and create good relationships with both colleagues and external contacts such as relatives, guardians, and daily activities.

1 support pedagogue - Short-term home

4 support pedagogues - Group housing

QUALIFICATIONS

Post-secondary education focused on disabilities with a pedagogical orientation of at least 200 YH credits or 60 HP, e.g., behavioral scientist, leisure pedagogue, etc.

OTHER

Hallstahammar municipality is part of the Finnish administrative area, and we welcome applicants with knowledge of Finnish in speech and writing.
