JOB DUTIES

We are now looking for an engaged employee for a combined position within Individual and Family Care and Elderly Care.

The exact distribution of duties (%) between the work areas has not yet been established but will be determined based on the needs of the organization.

This is an opportunity for you who want to combine work in adult handling (SoL/LVM) with assistance handling according to the Social Services Act for elderly care and thrive in a role with variation, development, and close collaboration.

Job Description Adult Unit (SoL and LVM)

In this part of the position, you will work with authority for adults. You will:

• Investigate, assess, decide, and follow up on interventions according to SoL and LVM.
• Work with structured interventions at home and in collaboration with outpatient care.
• Participate in early and preventive interventions through collaboration with other authorities and organizations.
• Be responsible for a professional approach and stable client contact.
• The work is characterized by variation and requires flexibility, structure, and good collaboration skills.

Job Description Assistance Handling Elderly Care

In this part of the position, you will work with handling assistance according to the Social Services Act for elderly individuals. You will:

• Investigate, assess, and follow up on granted interventions such as home care, day activities, short-term placements, and care homes.
• Work from a holistic perspective and a rehabilitative approach that strengthens the individual's own abilities.
• Participate in SIP meetings, network meetings, care planning, and group supervision.
• Write statements and maintain close dialogue with users, relatives, and service providers.
• Have close cooperation with the region, other municipalities, and relevant actors.

The workgroup consists of team leaders/LSS handlers and three handlers. We offer professional development, wellness benefits, and the opportunity for vacation exchange.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in social work or another relevant higher education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Has a good ability to meet people with dignity and create trusting relationships.
• Is confident, proactive, and engaged.
• Has a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing and works systematically with documentation and legally secure handling.
• Works independently, takes responsibility, and thrives in a varied and sometimes challenging everyday life.
• Is flexible and enjoys close collaboration with colleagues.

Meritorious:

• Experience in authority exercise.
• Knowledge of Lifecare and/or Cosmic Link.

Requirement: B driver's license.
