Are you a calm and secure person who enjoys creating structure, predictability, and providing support and care? We are now looking for respite caregivers for three children in primary and middle school age. The assignment includes approximately 20 hours per month.

Respite care is a service that provides parents and relatives with an opportunity for relief. As a respite caregiver, you temporarily take over the care of the child in the home or its immediate environment, allowing the family time for their own activities. The service can take place during the day, evenings, and weekends – sometimes even at night – and can be both regular and on an as-needed basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of respite caregiver, you provide support and care to children with disabilities. You create a safe and predictable environment. You participate in activities at home or accompany the child on outings. You are a positive role model and contribute to the child's social development. The work involves personal care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a responsible person who is of legal age, has a B driver's license, and has a good ability to express themselves in Swedish. We value experience or knowledge of children with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF). If you have also worked with educational tools such as visual support or similar, it is a significant plus.

As a person, you have good social skills and can be a stable and positive role model for the children. You also need to have good physical capacity to participate in play, play football, swim, and engage in other activities.
