Job Responsibilities

As a therapist with us, you will work clinically with interventions at the specialist care level. You represent your profession's perspective in the team and have a versatile role where you work with the child in focus, from start to finish. This means you will work broadly in various areas such as assessment, investigation/part of investigation, and treatment. For those starting with us now, there is initially an increased need to focus on providing therapeutic interventions to our patients, but we hope you will have an interest in working broadly in your profession in the long run. You will collaborate closely with various professional roles and external cooperation with schools, social services, and other healthcare partners. At the clinics, there are teams consisting of social workers, therapists, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and psychologists.

Currently, we have an increased focus across BUP Västmanland on modernizing work methods and increasing accessibility for patients and relatives seeking our services. About the Workplace

BUP in Västmanland is county-wide with clinics in Sala, Västerås, Köping, and Fagersta. There are also specialist units, inpatient care places, and an emergency department. Our goal is to provide care tailored to each child's specific needs. We work based on evidence and proven experience and are characterized by a health-promoting approach.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a trained social worker or a licensed health and medical care counselor, or have another relevant degree with level 1. Experience in evidence-based treatment work or from child psychiatric care is meritorious. Since you need to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, relatives, and colleagues in this role, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required.

You are a secure person who sees opportunities and is willing to share your ideas. You have an awareness and understanding of the possibilities and limitations that may exist in both the systems and organizations you collaborate with or operate in. This is a job for you who are passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families and have an empathetic approach and can adapt your way of conveying things.

Permanent, full-time. Start date by agreement.
