We are looking for a social worker for the Individual and Family Care in Kungsör. The Individual and Family Care is one of three areas within the social administration and actively works for good collaboration, both within the administration and together with external partners. The operation is organized into two units: the child, family, and adult unit, and the unit for support and assistance. The units carry out authority exercises and offer supportive measures for the municipality's citizens.

We play an important role for residents who need support through social services' measures and are a workplace that drives development. The goal of our operation is to conduct high-quality social work based on evidence, continuity, participation, and a holistic view.

The task of the child, family, and adult unit is to receive reports and applications regarding children, families, and adults in a legally secure manner. The unit investigates, decides on, and follows up on measures. Furthermore, the unit is responsible for the recruitment and investigation of contact persons, contact families, and foster homes; family law is also handled within the unit. In addition to authority exercises, we also work on preventive measures and treatment assignments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker, you handle preliminary assessments, investigate, grant, and follow up on measures. You process cases according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and, depending on the focus of the position, according to the Act on Special Provisions on the Care of Young People (LVU) and/or the Act on the Care of Abusers in Certain Cases (LVM).

You are responsible, based on delegation, for a legally secure processing and decision-making in individual cases and for ensuring that applicable guidelines and routines are followed. Collaboration is a natural part of the work and occurs both within the Individual and Family Care and together with other actors.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another completed education that the employer deems relevant. For work with children and youth, a degree in social work or another education with mandatory subjects according to HSLF-FS 2017:79 is required.

Regardless of which of the positions you are interested in, you need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have a B driver's license. It is an advantage if you have experience of authority exercises within the child and youth and/or adult area and if you are well acquainted with applicable legislation and processing requirements.
