Bra Assistans i Örebro AB provides personal assistance to people with disabilities according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Insurance Code and the Social Services Act (SoL).

We are looking for someone interested in working nights as a personal assistant to a woman in her 70s who has rheumatoid arthritis. Previous experience in personal assistance is a significant merit.

The work includes everything from personal care, intimate hygiene, transfers, some cooking, household chores, and assisting with leisure activities, etc. You must also be able to adapt to the individual's own pace, which varies from day to day.

The workplace is in the individual's home and wherever the individual may be.

The working hours are scheduled for nights. Currently, the shift is from 21:00 to 08:40, both weekdays and weekends. The shifts include some on-call hours (5 hours on-call, the remaining awake night) We are currently looking for hourly substitutes that can lead to more permanent shifts. We prefer that you can work with short notice in case of illness, leave, or other vacancies in the group.

We would like you to have a flexible and independent working style and easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good documentation skills and maintain a professional attitude. You should have a genuine interest and feeling for caring for people.

Other qualities that are beneficial for the job include a good sense of humor, calmness, patience, and being responsible. You should be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important.
