Description

We are looking for a support pedagogue for the municipality's short-term accommodation Solögat. At Solögat, we implement the short-term stay intervention, a temporary measure outside the home. We offer a safe and stimulating environment for children and young people who need a change of environment, recreation, or have parents or relatives who need relief.

Responsibilities

As a support pedagogue, you have the same responsibilities and tasks as other employees, including providing support and service to children and young people staying at the short-term accommodation, being attentive and able to interpret individual needs, providing the right support measures based on the current situation, and creating a safe and pleasant environment for everyone in the organization. In addition, you have a special and overarching responsibility for social documentation, pedagogical work, and collaboration. You are a resource for the work team and a support in the work based on quality, holistic view, development, and coordination.

The position includes a certain percentage of administrative work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is attentive, empathetic, and engaged. You are trained as a support assistant, nursing assistant, preschool teacher, or equivalent and have a post-secondary specialization in the disability field that includes at least 200 vocational training points or 60 higher education credits (or a combination that corresponds to at least two semesters of full-time studies). It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with individuals with intellectual, physical, neuropsychiatric, or mental disabilities.

Salary

Monthly salary, individual salary setting.

Conditions

Permanent, part-time 80%, irregular working hours, including weekends. Start as soon as possible by agreement.
