Your Responsibilities

As a social welfare officer, you are responsible for investigating applications, making decisions, and following up on approved interventions according to the Social Services Act. The work aims to provide support and create conditions for individuals to manage their lives based on needs and applicable legislation.

The role involves close collaboration with clients, relatives, caregivers, and other relevant authorities related to the individual's needs. You actively work to strengthen the individual's participation in the process and maintain a professional, respectful, and solution-focused approach. You are part of a team where you receive support from team leaders who act as sounding boards in daily work, as well as colleagues with high competence and commitment. The position also offers the opportunity to contribute to the development work of the organization. You will receive a thorough introduction and ongoing guidance.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another academic education deemed relevant for the position; education in social law is also a requirement. For the position, you need to have a B driver's license. Experience with the target group and authority exercise under SoL/LSS is considered an advantage. Interest and commitment to the target group are essential. You work well with others and enjoy building relationships. As a person, you are forward-looking, structured, and adaptable to changing circumstances.

Additional Information

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police's criminal record.

The positions refer to permanent positions and temporary contracts of varying lengths (6-12 months).

During the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
