As an IT Security Technician in the server area, you will become a key person in the work with signal protection and separate systems that are subject to security protection. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues to install, maintain, monitor, and secure our most critical IT solutions.

Here you will have the opportunity to:

• Work with technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, virtualization, and scripting.
• Contribute to protecting Sweden's digital infrastructure against cyber threats.
• Develop your skills through further education and practical work in security-classified environments.

Your background

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education or other relevant training for the role.
• Experience in scripting to automate and simplify work.
• A background in IT support and good knowledge of virtualization and server administration.
• Experience in basic network troubleshooting.

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of MFA, networks, hardening of applications, and operating systems.
• Experience working in security-classified systems.
• University education in a relevant field.

Other

The employment is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. The position is classified in a security class, and a security review with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but you may have a foreign background.
