Qualifications

Must-haves:

Relevant university degree (e.g., computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar)
Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Willingness to travel within Europe
Previous experience in leadership/responsibility roles - e.g., store manager

The assignment is classified. Before employment, you must undergo a security clearance and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. NOTE: This requires certain citizenship.

About the role

As a Systems Engineer in integration, you will be part of an engaged team working to plan, follow up, and test the integration of various system components. You will:

Plan and coordinate deliveries from subcontractors and internal teams
Follow up on documentation and testing, ensuring that the right people review the material
Support senior technical experts or work closely with the integration leader in the project team
Familiarize yourself with various systems (e.g., weapon systems, underwater systems) and contribute to problem-solving
Participate in commissioning and testing, which involves travel within Europe (approximately once a month)

The projects are long-term (5–10 years) and involve both new development and upgrades of existing systems. Depending on your background and development level, you may either work as support to experienced system leaders or take a more independent role in the integration area.
