Eccera is now looking for an experienced and committed software developer who wants to take overall technical responsibility and assume the role of Tech Lead in the development of tactical and security-critical systems. Our client is a product company focused on in-house developed solutions for critical societal operations, where availability, security, and quality are crucial throughout the product lifecycle.

In this role, you will combine your broad technical expertise with the ability to lead, coach, and drive a small development team forward. You will work closely with product leaders and other stakeholders regarding requirements, technical solutions, and priorities, with a clear focus on product development rather than project deliveries. The work primarily takes place on-site in northern Stockholm. You and your team will be responsible for technical decisions, system architecture, code quality, and creating a sustainable, efficient, and long-term development process.

The role involves both strategic responsibility and operational participation in development.

About the role
You will work on the development of security-critical systems where availability, robustness, and information security are crucial. The solutions are used in critical societal environments and are part of the support for total defense, which entails high demands on quality, security, and sustainability. This is not about generic cloud services or theoretical security models, but about practical security in complex, sometimes isolated (air-gapped) environments, where the systems' functionality in critical situations is essential.

• Participate operationally in system development
• Ensure high quality, stability, and maintainability over time
• Lead and support the team in technical matters
• Develop system architecture and make technical choices
• Drive improvements in development processes, tools, and working methods

Requirements

Suitable candidates have:

• Background from product companies or internal system development
• Experience that is broad, solid, and senior – with a holistic perspective on systems and products
• Technical leadership with the ability to see and take responsibility for the entire product lifecycle
• Not necessarily held the title of Tech Lead before, but is ready to take on such responsibility
• Enjoys working in smaller teams (about 3–6 people) and values a close, social, and collaborative work environment
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as well as the ability to undergo a security clearance

Preferred experience:

• HA systems and environments with geoseparation, redundancy, load balancing, and replication
• Security systems, certificates, PKI, and authentication and authorization solutions
• Platforms and infrastructure for taking systems from development and testing to operation and maintenance
• Air-gapped on-prem solutions and integration of third-party services and own subsystems in complex IT environments
