We are now looking for a Network Engineer for our NOC Infra & Broadcast unit (Network Operation Center) who wants to work with monitoring, troubleshooting, and fault resolution in our network – around the clock, year-round.

About the position

Together with the team, you will monitor and ensure good operational stability in our broadcast networks and infrastructure. You will work in the NOC Infra & Broadcast grouping as 2nd line with monitoring, customer contacts, troubleshooting, and fault resolution – around the clock, year-round, and it also includes on-call duties. The role includes overall responsibility for the networks and infrastructure, which involves working with our encoders, transcoders, decoders, multiplexers, stereo encoders, and transmitters for radio and TV.

To succeed in this role, you need to have experience in monitoring and fault resolution in similar networks. You have good experience working with operational management and handling 2nd Line roles previously.

You possess good competence regarding NOC work and deeper troubleshooting within established technologies to fully succeed in the assignment. There is a strong emphasis on the ability and willingness to continually develop your own and your colleagues' skills, as well as to refine our routines and working methods.

The position involves scheduled work around the clock, every day of the year. The position is based at Teracom's headquarters in Stockholm, Lindhagen.

We are looking for you who have

· Relevant education in Data/IT/Telecom or equivalent competence

· Basic understanding of infrastructure for buildings/environment and telecom networks

· Experience from working in a NOC environment

· Experience with shift work

· A structured approach even in stressful situations

· Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English

We consider it an advantage if you also have:

· Experience from complex networks that include a variety of fiber, data communication, and radio links

· B – Driving license

Other requirements

• Approved alcohol and drug test required for employment

As the employment is placed in a security class (class 2), the following is required;

• Approved background check, security classification, and background check
• Swedish or Nordic citizenship
