About the Job

You will work with system development in an agile team where you collectively are responsible for both development and maintenance. As a software developer in the IT department, you contribute to ensuring that the Swedish Tax Agency remains at the forefront and is a role model in Swedish public administration. You will work daily with design and development. The development part is an integral part, but it also includes finding smart solutions for streamlining management. You are a developer but also contribute in other areas such as requirement specification and testing. You work both independently and together with the team, helping each other in a humble manner. In close collaboration with the business, the team delivers complete solutions that simplify life for businesses and individuals.

You will have the opportunity to engage in varied tasks with modern development environments, platforms, and tools. The technical environment includes Linux with Oracle databases, Java and C, as well as Git/GitHub Enterprise Server, Jira, and Confluence. We work based on an agile approach with SAFe as a framework.

You will belong to the IT department, located in Sundbyberg.

About You

In this job, you should:

You should also have:

• a university degree of at least 180 credits (120 ECTS) in a relevant field
• several years of current and relevant work experience in programming in Java
• current and relevant knowledge of programming in C

It is desirable that you have relevant experience working with SQL databases, integrations, and complex architectural environments. It is also desirable that you have experience in the role of architect and/or team lead.

Good to Know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
