The client operates in the development of advanced technical systems for marine environments, focusing on intelligence, infrastructure, and long-term sustainable solutions. The work is conducted in a high-tech context with high demands for reliability, robustness, and system integration.
The business is characterized by a low degree of standardization and a high degree of customization – solutions are developed for real usage rather than mass production. The projects are technically complex and are carried out in close collaboration between different disciplines, where a holistic perspective and practical function are crucial.
The organization consists of experienced specialists with strong system understanding and a culture characterized by collaboration, responsibility, and technical curiosity. There is room to influence technical decisions, take responsibility for the whole, and contribute to solutions that are intended to function for a long time in demanding environments.
About the positionIn this role, you will work for a client who develops intelligence and infrastructure for advanced marine systems. The business is characterized by technical breadth, high complexity, and a pragmatic approach where solutions are built for real operation rather than mass production.
You will play a central role in ensuring that the electrical system functions as a whole – from subsystems and cabinets to integration, verification, and commissioning. The work is varied, project-based, and takes place in close collaboration with several technical disciplines as well as production, testing, and suppliers.
The role suits you who want to take overall responsibility, work closely with reality, and be the one who makes many puzzle pieces become a robust and functioning system.
The work involves broad responsibility for electrical systems at the system level, focusing on integration, robustness, and verification in complex environments. Examples of tasks include:
Ensuring that the electrical system functions as a whole throughout the development chain
Developing and driving electrical system requirements and specifications with a focus on real integration
Working with wiring systems and cabling, including concepts, connection principles, and installation documentation
Assessing and, if necessary, designing simpler electronic solutions from a system perspective
Ensuring robustness regarding power, load, interfaces, EMC, and verification
Working closely with production, integration, and testing, as well as driving troubleshooting in case of system deviations
Creating and maintaining technical documentation such as diagrams, interfaces, and change documentation
Collaborating cross-functionally with other disciplines and engaging in dialogue with suppliers
Your qualifications
Solid experience in electrical system work at the system level, focusing on the whole, integration, and consequence thinking
Experience from environments close to production, testing, commissioning, or system integration
Good understanding of the electrical system's buildability, interfaces, and technical dependencies
Ability to see the consequences of choices regarding load, power, cabling, signals, EMC, space, cooling, and service
Experience in technical documentation and working with requirements, specifications, and interfaces
It is advantageous to have broad experience from areas such as mechanics, electronics, systems work, or technical project management, as well as work with robust or industrial systems. The role also suits you who have worked deeply in one area, such as circuit boards, and who want to take a clearer overall responsibility at the system level.
As a person, you are curious, structured, and have a clear system thinking. You thrive in the borderland between disciplines, are comfortable with unclear conditions, and take independent responsibility for driving the work forward. You value collaboration, dialogue with suppliers, and see documentation as a natural part of well-functioning engineering work.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current regulations for security protection. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
