The municipal executive administration works on behalf of the municipal executive board. We lead, manage, support, and follow up to ensure that the entire municipality operates efficiently and purposefully. In total, we are about 400 employees distributed across five departments. About the role

As a solution architect, you will be a key person in the municipality and work closely with the operations to translate needs into smart, secure, and future-proof solutions. Here, you will work both strategically and operationally to ensure that our solutions align with Huddinge municipality's overall goals, strategies, and operational plans. As a solution architect, you will be part of an experienced architecture team together with an enterprise architect and other solution architects.

Your tasks include, for example:

• Working closely with the operations and translating needs into relevant technical solutions, together with colleagues in IT and operations
• Developing target architectures, system strategies, and architectural action plans
• Contributing to the group's working methods, processes, and routines and enhancing the architecture function
• Operating within our established governance and collaboration model (PM3) where architecture, portfolio, and objects are central areas for effective, purposeful digitization
• Quality assuring requirements in procurements, projects, and objects – from needs to realization

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you need to be a communicative translator who moves effortlessly between technology and operations. You are likely positioned in the technology layer with a good understanding of cloud services and AI, and preferably have expertise in integration and/or information architecture. You can make yourself understood regardless of whether the conversation is with IT specialists, managers, or employees in our various operations.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of relevant experience as a solution architect in larger/complex environments (we prefer at least 5 years or equivalent seniority)
• Good knowledge of cloud architectures (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) and AI-related services
• Expertise in integration architecture and/or information architecture
• The role requires you to have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Certifications in solution/information architecture (e.g., TOGAF, BCS, ISAQB)
• Familiarity with the national architecture community's EA framework
• Experience in master data/information architecture, e.g., work with geographical data
• Practical experience in requirement specification in procurements and projects

Furthermore, we are looking for someone who is a strategic and solution-focused architect with drive and commitment. You seamlessly switch between strategic thinking and operational execution, work methodically, and take initiative. You enjoy creating structure and transparency in complex environments that make it easy for others to follow along. You are used to working closely with operations, capturing needs, and translating them into relevant technical solutions – and you have experience navigating large, complex organizations.
