We are now looking for an experienced software developer with expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning for an advanced development assignment with our client in the defense industry. Here you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the further development of a long-range robotic system with high demands on performance, security, and reliability.

About the assignmentAs a consultant, you will be part of an agile and cross-functional development team responsible for the further development of an advanced planning system. The focus is on increasing the system's performance, autonomy, and ability to handle significantly larger data sets than today – on the brink of what is technically possible.

The work spans the entire development chain, from systems work and requirements analysis to design, testing, verification, troubleshooting, and delivery. You will also have the opportunity to test different roles within the team's agile working methodology and contribute both technical expertise and new perspectives.

Placement will be with the client in the locations of Karlskoga or Solna.

Your tasks include:Further development of an advanced planning system with high demands on performance and autonomy.Design and implementation of software in C and C++.Development of AI/ML functionality, including classification, optimization problems, and predictive analysis.Testing and quality assurance of software.Participation in the entire development cycle: requirements work, design, testing, troubleshooting, and delivery.Active contribution in agile teamwork and continuous improvements.Requirements for the role- At least 3 years of experience in software development- At least 2–3 years of experience in AI/ML in classification, optimization, and predictive analysis- Experience in C and C++- Experience in software testing and quality assurance in the above languages- Familiar with working in agile teams and enjoys collaboration and knowledge sharingDesirable competenciesExperience with Ada and CUDA.Experience in design work and software architecture.Other informationWork model: On-site.Location: Karlskoga or Solna.Assignment period: 1 year, with the possibility of extension.Security clearance: The assignment requires approved security clearance according to applicable security protection regulations.
