On-site Technician in Södertälje – Start Immediately

About the Role

• Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00–17:00
• Employment: Permanent position with a 6-month probation period
• Location: Södertälje
• Employer: Barona, where you work as a consultant at one of our larger clients in Södertälje.

About the Position

As an On-site Technician, you work on-site at a larger organization in Södertälje, becoming an important part of the local IT support team. Your workdays will be varied, ranging from installations and troubleshooting to providing daily user support.

You will work with computers, mobile phones, printers, conference equipment, and digital signage. The role involves frequent contact with users, where you guide, explain, and instruct with patience and clarity.

The client has well-established routines and processes that create structure, good documentation, and high security. Therefore, your ability to work methodically and follow processes is a key part of success in this role.

To ensure you feel confident in your work, we offer a thorough onboarding process where you will learn the client's systems, tools, and working methods.

Your Responsibilities

• Installation, troubleshooting, and support of hardware and software
• Management of mobile phones and accessories
• Ensuring conference rooms and AV equipment function correctly
• Support for digital signage and printers
• "Smart hands" tasks and inventory management (incoming/outgoing goods)
• User support and instructions as needed

We are looking for someone who

• Has relevant education or equivalent experience
• Has a strong interest in IT and technology
• Is outgoing, social, and enjoys interacting with people
• Is meticulous, self-motivated, and responsible
• Has good administrative skills
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B) and a personal car (driving is part of the job, mileage reimbursement is provided)
