Workplace Description

Do you want to drive a qualitative care work with a focus on a professional approach and perspective within LSS? Welcome to us in Bromma!

You will work within the Personal Support Area, which belongs to the Social Services and Leisure Department, Bromma City District Administration.

The unit is responsible for 17 group homes and service residences and a daily activity in Bromma. In the group homes, adults with various disabilities reside. We offer individually tailored support based on the residents' wishes, needs, and opportunities. The operations are based on respect, security, and participation based on LSS, the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Disabilities. All operations are located in Bromma and are accessible by public transport.

Your Role

As a substitute with us, you are an important part of our work to actively contribute so that the residents feel safe, seen, involved, appreciated, and important. By being curious and attentive to the residents' needs, abilities, and dreams, you create health together with your colleagues and manager. This is fundamental to the salutogenic approach that our operations are based on.

As a substitute, you will provide support and service to the residents in their own homes and create meaningful leisure activities. The support includes personal care as well as everyday tasks that exist in a home.

Your work includes documenting and ensuring that important information is reported. You work in accordance with the agreed routines, action plans, and schedules of the operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have basic education at the upper secondary level with a focus on care and nursing. Preferably trained as a nursing assistant with a focus on disabilities.

We are looking for someone who:

• has an interest in working with the target group.
• has some experience working with people with various disabilities, such as intellectual disabilities, challenging behavior, and autism.
• has good collaboration skills for effective cooperation with users, colleagues, and partners.
• has a clear, motivating, and salutogenic approach.
• is flexible, secure, and stable.
• master the Swedish language in speech and writing, which is important for communication with residents, documentation, and collaboration with colleagues and external contacts.

It is an advantage if you have a B driver's license and can communicate in Swedish sign language or sign communication.

To work with us, it is a prerequisite that you have an interest, a willingness, and the ability to meet our users in a pedagogical and responsible manner every day.

Other

Scheduled working hours can be both day, evening, weekend, and in some cases, sleeping duty at the workplace or awake night. The schedule may change based on the needs of the operation.
