Caleo Omsorg has been providing safe and individualized care solutions since 2012. We operate licensed support housing for children and young people who have come as unaccompanied minors, who have previously been placed due to social issues, or who live in a conflict-ridden or otherwise unsatisfactory home situation, aged 16 to 20 years.

About the position

Caleo Omsorg is looking for staff for our staffed support housing in southern Stockholm. A housing supporter’s main task is to practically, pedagogically, and socially strengthen the client’s ability to manage daily life both at home and in society. A housing supporter prepares the client for independence and a self-sufficient adult life.

What we are looking for

Requirements include a completed bachelor's degree, equivalent to 180 higher education credits, with a focus on psychosocial work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. Previous experience working in care where documentation of work has been done is also required. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement as we perform a lot of documentation.

We are looking for a colleague who is passionate about supporting and empowering another person. Someone who can work on a schedule with varied working hours, who feels comfortable with solitary work and can take initiative. Someone who is secure in themselves to guide and support others. The ideal candidate must be flexible, attentive, calm, positive, and responsible. Having a pedagogical approach and being solution-focused is a significant plus.

To thrive in this role, it is an advantage if you find it easy to build relationships and have good collaboration skills. You also need to communicate easily and handle stressful situations in a low-arousal manner.
