We are looking for cheerful and friendly female personal assistants for a 4-year-old boy in Sigtuna.

About the Job as a Personal Assistant

As a personal assistant, you work closely with the customer in their daily life. You assist and support him in everyday activities and during leisure time. Your workplace is wherever the customer is, and your tasks involve providing the customer with the conditions to live the life he desires.

At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction with the customer and access to training about the role of a personal assistant.

Job Responsibilities

Your tasks are based on the boy's needs and lifestyle and may include:

  • Personal hygiene
  • Assistance with transfers
  • Inhalations and tube feeding
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Play and activities inside and outside the home

The boy enjoys bathing, visiting Korallen (sensory room), swinging, sledding, reading books, singing, and dancing.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is responsible, attentive, and self-assured
  • Enjoys working with children
  • Has good intuition and can read the child's daily condition
  • Works in a structured manner, is proactive, and solution-focused
  • Has a strong work ethic

Experience is not a requirement, but it is an advantage if you have experience with tube feeding, inhalations, lifting, AAC, or tactile communication.

You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

About the Employment

The employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the pay structure is hourly wage. Working hours vary based on the customer's needs and can be scheduled for days, evenings, nights (active time and on-call), weekdays, and weekends.

Salary and other employment conditions are according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna – Kommunal.
