The Family Home Care unit is primarily responsible for children/youth who are placed in family homes. The goal of the operation is to ensure that children/youth have the conditions for favorable development. To enable this, we work in teams with the children's best interests in focus.

In our unit, we recruit and assess emergency and family homes, contact families/individuals. We have various roles including child secretaries, family home secretaries, family home recruiters, emergency home secretaries, contact secretaries, administrators, group leaders, and unit managers.

We are all experienced, knowledgeable, and engaged in our work, and we care for each other and maintain a good atmosphere in the group. We want our care to be characterized by consensus, quality, and legal security, and we believe it is important to develop in our work. We are now looking for a family home recruiter.

Your mission

You will recruit and assess new family homes and emergency homes together with colleagues. There is an established structure for regular support.

This is what we are looking for in you

• Degree in Social Work
• Experience in social services' authority work in the area of children and youth
• Experience in family home care
• Experience in assessing emergency and/or family homes is an advantage
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, being flexible and switching between tasks
• Structured, i.e., able to organize, plan, and coordinate
• Correct Swedish in speech and writing
• Knowledge of BBIC
• Driver's license

Your competence

As a social worker with us, it is natural for you to enjoy collaboration with others but also to work independently. You easily build good relationships, are attentive, and clear in your communication. You have good knowledge of relevant legislation, child development, and keep up with current research. You need to be able to limit your assignment and work calmly and methodically when others around you are stressed.

We are looking for someone who can see the opportunities in complex social work, easily collaborates, is flexible, curious, and has the best interests of the children in focus. We see it as natural that you are responsible, have integrity, and value quality.
