About the Company
Waxö Omsorg is a care company that offers support, service, and care to adults with cognitive and neuropsychiatric disabilities as well as individuals with acquired brain injuries.
The individual’s needs, wishes, and integrity guide all activities. Our starting point is that each care recipient should receive the support necessary to live as independently, meaningfully, and fulfilling a life as possible. We work to ensure that the individuals we support feel included, valued, and have the opportunity to participate in society just like other residents.
Waxö Omsorg has a collective agreement according to the Care and Support Agreement with the Swedish Municipal Workers' Union (Kommunal) and is a member of the Association of Municipal Enterprises (KFS).
About the Workplace
Storgatan's group home is an LSS residence according to 9 § 9 for individuals with varying support needs. Here, six care recipients live who receive individually tailored support in their daily lives, at home, and during leisure time.
The support is designed according to each care recipient's implementation plan and is always based on the individual's needs, wishes, and circumstances.
About the Position
We are now looking for a dedicated and responsible employee for a 75% position with a 6-month probationary period.

Job Responsibilities
As a support assistant with us, you will:
- Provide individual support in daily life according to implementation plans
- Motivate and support care recipients pedagogically towards set goals
- Create a safe and meaningful everyday life
- Work independently and in a team in care work
- Participate in and support leisure activities, outings, and social contexts
- Collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professional actors
- Follow routines and guidelines according to applicable legislation (LSS, SoL, HSL)
- Document according to the requirements of the operation
- Plan and prepare shared meals according to hygiene routines
- Provide support in personal care and hygiene based on the individual's needs and integrity
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong empathetic abilities and can meet each individual based on their needs
- Is attentive, flexible, and can adapt your approach
- Has patience and understanding for cognitive and neuropsychiatric disabilities
- Can work independently in the care recipient's home and in various activities
- Has good collaboration skills and a professional demeanor
- Is solution-focused and confident in challenging situations
- Has good Swedish language skills in speech and writing (requirement for documentation and collaboration)
Employment Conditions
- Working hours: 75%
- Employment form: Probationary employment for 6 months (with the possibility of permanent employment)
- Collective agreement: Care and Support Agreement (Kommunal)
