About the job

We are looking for two social workers for our unit that works with individuals needing support to achieve self-sufficiency. The main tasks include meeting clients for visits, collaborating with other organizations to create plans for self-sufficiency, and investigating the right to financial assistance. The role requires good investigative skills and attention to detail while also needing to work with clients, partners, and possess strong communication skills.

Being involved in creating effective work processes and methods within the unit is an important part of the development of the work, and you are expected to contribute to this in addition to working with clients. This occurs, for example, through dialogue with team leaders and at workplace meetings.

To support the work, there are AI processes that handle certain administrative tasks such as checks or payments, we have external supervision, and for example, case discussions and reviews with team leaders. For those who are new to the profession or new to Huddinge municipality, it is our responsibility as an employer to provide the right tools for a good entry into the work of public authority. To achieve this, we have a social worker specialized in the introduction of newly hired social workers in financial assistance.

About you

It is important to us that you are a person who is attentive, flexible, responsible, and can work both independently and in a team. At the same time, you need to be curious and have good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is an advantage if you have completed your practical training and trainee program via Huddinge trainee.
