About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

The client is a social woman with a great interest in communication and uses a letter board as her primary means of communication. She enjoys conversations, likes to follow TV shows, and has a strong interest in football — especially AIK.

At Humana, it is important that both you as a new assistant and the client feel secure in the collaboration with each other. Therefore, all new assistants receive a tailored introduction, both to the professional role and to the specific client you will be working with.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a 56-year-old woman living in Liljeholmskajen

• Has good knowledge of Swedish

• Has experience with ALS

• Has experience with tracheostomy

• Has experience with cough machines, suction, PEG, catheter, and respirators

It is also an advantage if you:

• Are a trained nursing assistant or nurse

• Have experience communicating using a letter board

• Can tolerate e-cigarettes, as the client uses this

• Share the client's interests, such as football, TV shows, and social interaction

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours and employment rate

The positions are summer temporary jobs during the period from June 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, with an employment rate of approximately 80–100%, depending on the schedule and agreement.

The work is scheduled for days, evenings, or nights, both weekdays and weekends.

• Day shifts: 08:00–16:00

• Evening shifts: 16:00–22:00

• Night shifts: 22:00–08:00

The work is performed with double assistance during active hours around the clock.

We are looking for:

• 2 assistants who can work nights, weekdays, and weekends

• 4 assistants who can work day and evening shifts, weekdays, and weekends

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Start date

There is an opportunity to start working as a temporary assistant before the summer position begins. Please indicate in your application if this is of interest to you and when you would be available to start. Otherwise, the start date for the summer position will be according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a background check from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police criminal record and suspicion register before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
