About me:

I am a 61-year-old man living in an apartment in Älvsjö. In my daily life, I use a wheelchair and need some physical assistance. But above all, I am a positive and easy-going person with a great sense of humor. I enjoy reggae music, am a devoted Hammarby fan, and love to cook (and eat!) good food. I smoke, so it is important that you are okay with smoke in the home.

I am also almost completely blind and hard of hearing, so it is important that you are clear in your communication, observant – and comfortable taking responsibility when needed.

About the job:

As my personal assistant, you will be my support in daily life. You will help me with:

• Personal care (e.g., dressing, showering, transfers)
• Household chores (such as cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and cooking)

The shifts are scheduled as follows:

• Day shift: 08:00–16:00
• Evening shift: 16:00–22:00
• Night shift: 22:00–08:00 (with on-call between 00:00–08:00)

It is common for you to work several shifts in a row, for example, two or three shifts consecutively.

Initially, it is a part-time position, with the possibility of extension and potential fixed-term employment later on.

Who am I looking for?

You who:

• Are a woman (due to the nature of the work)
• Are a smoker or have no objections to smoke
• Speak good Swedish
• Are clear in your communication and can take responsibility even when you do not receive direct instructions
• Are self-sufficient, flexible, and attentive
• Have a sense of humor and enjoy making a difference in another person's daily life

I appreciate if you are a social and pleasant person who enjoys chatting – but also can sense when calm and quiet are needed. The most important thing is that we enjoy each other's company.
