At Vår Omtanke, we are currently seeking a personal assistant to work with one of our clients living in Jakobsberg, 17 minutes by commuter train from Odenplan and a 10-minute walk from the station. About the client

The client is a woman in her 40s living in a villa in Jakobsberg with her husband and two dogs. She has a neurological condition that affects her muscle function and therefore needs an assistant who can be her arms and legs to help manage daily life. This includes everything from transfers and personal hygiene to household chores and training the dogs together with the client. She has a strong interest in environmental and social issues, and the days are largely dedicated to daily tasks, caring for the dogs' health (e.g., brushing teeth, drying paws, brushing fur, etc.), and training the dogs in basic obedience. It is important that you are:

• Female

• Humble

• Solution-oriented

• Fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken

• Interested in dogs and comfortable handling them.

• Experienced in managing a home and household

• 30 years of age or older

• Driver's license and access to a car

No previous experience working in healthcare is required. Personal chemistry is what will determine the fit.

Working hours and employment level:

The position is primarily a substitute role on weekends and during regular assistants' absences, but a permanent position of approximately 50% may become available in the near future. Shifts are scheduled from 8:00 to 18:30 on weekdays (it is possible to split them into 8:00-13:00 and 13:00-18:30 at times) and from 9:00 to 16:00 on weekends. Occasionally, we also need someone for evening shifts and sometimes overnight with sleeping duty. You cannot bring your own dog to work. Fixed weekend shifts on a rotating schedule are available directly after a short trial period.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage within the range of 141-155 SEK/hour; other benefits are provided according to collective agreements.

Start date: By agreement.
