The Care Office is responsible for interventions for the elderly and people with disabilities on behalf of the Care Committee and the Elderly Care Committee. You will belong to the Quality and Development Unit within the Care Office's support staff, together with business strategists, MAS, MAR, vocational teachers within care and elderly care, and the chief secretary.

Your responsibilities

As a project-employed business strategist, you will play a central role in developing and establishing long-term collaboration with civil society within the Care Office's area. The assignment aims to strengthen preventive work, counteract involuntary loneliness, increase security, and contribute to reaching more people early with supportive interventions. The work should lead to forms of collaboration that function during the project period and can continue after the project ends.

Examples of areas of work:

• map, initiate, and develop collaboration with associations, religious communities, study associations, and other actors in civil society
• develop methods, structures, and forums for long-term collaboration between the Care Office and civil society
• plan and conduct information meetings, dialogues, and other collaboration activities
• coordinate contacts between the municipality's operations, civil society, and other relevant partners
• contribute to easier identification and referral of elderly and people with disabilities in loneliness or social isolation to activities and social contexts
• collaborate with internal and external actors to create a common overview of activities, meeting places, and support interventions
• prepare materials, analyses, and decision proposals and follow up on the development work

Who are you?

Do you want to develop sustainable forms of collaboration between the municipality and civil society to strengthen participation, security, and quality of life? Then you might be the right person for the position of business strategist with a focus on civil society collaboration. The position is a two-year project employment with a strategic assignment to build structures and methods that can become part of regular operations.

Requirements:

• You have a relevant academic education in fields such as political science, sociology, social work, social work education, public health science, public administration, or other equivalent education.
• You have experience in qualified development work, project management, or coordination, preferably in public operations.
• You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Merits:

It is an advantage if you have experience of collaboration with civil society, work in a politically governed organization, change management, process leadership, or building new methods and structures. Knowledge about elderly care, disability issues, preventive work, or social sustainability is also considered a merit.

You are strategic, independent, and relationship-building. You build trust, create networks, and bring different actors together around common goals. You work in a structured manner, have good analytical skills, and turn ideas into concrete methods. You are also receptive, pedagogical, and confident in driving development work together with others. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
