What we offer you
We offer a fixed-term position at 65% where your role as a childcare worker involves supporting individual students and student groups during the after-school activities at Länna School's after-school center. The position is scheduled for afternoons, five days a week, meaning you will be a stable and important presence for the students during the core hours of the after-school center. You are also part of the responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating the after-school activities. The role involves close collaboration within a work team with other after-school staff in an activity where a warm, friendly approach and the students' social development are at the center.
The Assignment
You, together with the work team, are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the pedagogical activities in the after-school center. The assignment includes:
- Creating a meaningful, enjoyable, and developmental after-school time for the students
- Adapting activities based on the students' different needs, interests, and prerequisites
- Contributing to the students' social development, joy of movement, and sense of security
- Collaborating with colleagues in the work team to create a red thread between school and after-school center
- Contributing to a good environment and structure during after-school time

Requirements
- Relevant education (e.g., childcare worker or after-school leader) or other experience that the employer considers equivalent

About Us
Länna School is a comprehensive school (Grades 1–9) located in Bergshamra, Norrtälje Municipality. Approximately 290 students attend in the autumn term of 2026, and we work together to create a secure, inclusive, and developmental school environment where every student is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We have a strong focus on relationships, a warm and friendly approach, and knowledge development at the center. The school has a well-functioning student health team consisting of school leadership, school nurse, counselor, school psychologist, and special education teacher, which provides good conditions for meeting every student's needs. A much-appreciated part of our activity is that all food is cooked on-site by our own chefs, contributing to a pleasant school day and good quality.
Länna School is located approximately 67 km from Stockholm Central and 18 km from Norrtälje town in a quiet and nature-rich environment with proximity to forests and nature.

- For this role, the starting salary is normally between 25,500–30,000 SEK depending on experience and competence
