Särnmark's headquarters are in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in other parts of Sweden.

We are now looking for a personal assistant for an 18-year-old girl living in Djursholm, Danderyd.

As an assistant to our 18-year-old daughter, who has extensive multiple disabilities and significant care needs, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your knowledge and experience in care and support, exercise and physiotherapy, communication, assistive devices, and more. However, you will primarily get to feel her joy and affection and become her best friend by making her life much more fun and better.

Despite facing such difficult circumstances, she is usually content and happy with what she has.

The tasks include helping our daughter with everything in her daily life. For example, feeding, hygiene, exercise and physiotherapy, moving with the help of lifts and a wheelchair, and engaging in playful and fun activities together.

The workplace is where our daughter spends her time, i.e., in our home, at school, and on outings with the family.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is Engaged, Caring, Loving, Child-loving, Receptive, Meticulous, and Responsible. As a person, you are proactive and have a positive attitude towards the job as a personal assistant.

The most important thing is your personal qualities and your willingness to help people, especially children. We want you to be a non-smoker and to speak and write Swedish fluently.

Experience in medical care is an advantage, and having previously worked with children in any capacity is great, but what we look at most is who you are as a person and how you can contribute.

To make your commute sustainable, it is an advantage if you live in Danderyd or in nearby municipalities and/or have a driver's license and access to a car.

It is desirable that you view this job as long-term, as you and our daughter need time together to get to know and trust each other, which is a prerequisite for successful assistance.

You will, of course, receive a safe and good introduction on-site in the home in Danderyd.

Working hours and degree of employment:

We are looking for an assistant who wants to work on a fixed schedule shift with a scope of 50-100% based on agreement. We are also looking for you who want to work as a temporary substitute.

Working hours are day and evening Monday - Sunday.

It is desirable that you are also flexible and can sometimes step in when needed, for example, in case of another assistant's illness or leave.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations are made according to collective agreement.

About the employment

The form of employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the wage form is hourly wage. Working hours vary from day to evening, Monday to Sunday.
