The unit has a broad target group and encompasses the operations SIG Adult and Family Support, Vistet, and Västerort Youth Clinic.

We are now looking for a guide/case manager for SIG Adult who will support and motivate clients towards a life free from crime and/or violent extremism.

Your role

As a guide/case manager in SIG Adult, you will, on behalf of the investigating social worker and together with your colleague, create conditions for the client to succeed in leaving a criminal/violent extremist lifestyle.

You need to be secure in who you are and be able to support the person towards change in a respectful and empathetic manner. You need to be sensitive to the client's needs and creatively help find ways forward.

It is important that you are good at creating collaboration both within and outside the organization.

You need to be able to work flexibly, with a solution focus, and have endurance because we know that change takes time.

Since the operations are in constant change, you will also, together with colleagues, be involved in the work of meeting the new challenges that the operations and target group are faced with.

Your skills and experience

For this position, it is required that you have:

• a university degree that the employer assesses is adequate for the assignment
• training in conducting conversations using MI (Motivational Interviewing) as well as in "Crime as a Lifestyle"

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• worked as a guide/case manager in SIG Adult or a corresponding operation within social services

We are looking for you who are self-reliant, stable, have a high degree of personal maturity, and are a skilled pedagogue. It is important that you have a good ability to build relationships and collaborations.

A probationary period may be relevant if you have not previously worked as a guide/case manager in SIG Adult.
