Are you our much-awaited new assistant?

We are looking for relief staff as needed; for the right person, there is an opportunity for a permanent position in the basic schedule.

We are now looking for attentive and warm female assistants for our client in Hägersten. Our client is a man in his 50s who lives with his wife in an apartment in Hägersten. He needs support in his daily life following an acquired brain injury and severe epilepsy.

The assistance is provided around the clock, with shifts scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekends. During the day, double assistance is provided. We are looking for someone who can work independently but also function well as part of a team.

As an assistant, you should be calm, attentive, flexible, and take great responsibility for your tasks. You need to be physically fit and enjoy providing good care. The duties include some documentation and, of course, communication with the client and others in the client's vicinity. Therefore, you need good knowledge of Swedish and preferably English. The job involves helping the client with tasks he cannot do himself, which includes household chores, transfers, personal hygiene, cleaning, and laundry. It also involves accompanying the client to appointments and activities outside the home, such as doctor visits and day activities.

We would appreciate it if you had experience working as a personal assistant, but the most important thing is that you have a positive attitude, are reliable, meticulous, considerate, and willing to learn. It is an advantage if you have previous experience with PEG feeding, using an inhaler/PEP mask, and other aids such as lifts, wheelchairs/permobils, and MotoMed, etc.

For the right person, a schedule covering approximately 80% of the hours is available.
