ABOUT THE CLIENT

My mobility impairment is not very severe, but I still need support with most aspects of daily life. I also have a severe visual impairment, which means you will need to sight-interpret for me. Therefore, it is important that you develop a good understanding of how I communicate, so that I can make my own decisions and determine how my daily life looks.

Sometimes we also go to the countryside, and you are welcome to join us.

In my spare time, I try to fill my days with things I enjoy. For example, I often hang out at a youth center with other young people with mobility impairments. When we are there, I might need help making connections with friends or taking the initiative to come up with various activities.

I love music, both writing and playing it, but I also love food (more about eating than cooking).

ABOUT YOU

I am looking for an energetic and proactive male assistant. I would appreciate it if you viewed the work with me as a long-term commitment, as I want my assistants to know me well.

Qualifications that would be advantageous include:

• Experience with autism
• Experience using visual aids
• Experience with visual impairment

ABOUT THE POSITION

Currently, there is an opportunity for full-time or part-time work, depending on the match and what you are looking for. We would prefer if you could start the introduction immediately, according to agreement.

Working hours are as follows:

• 07:00–14:00
• 14:00–21:00
