About Us

Humaniora Care and Welfare is the municipal provider in Solna Municipality. We are responsible for, among other things, elderly care and support for people with disabilities, as well as preventive activities. Within Humaniora, Solna Municipality's new daily activity program is taking shape for people covered by target group 1 according to the LSS Act.

What does the job entail?

In the role of supervisor, you support users in their daily lives and create conditions for development and participation. The work includes, among other things:

Creating secure and trusting relationships with users.
Planning, leading, and carrying out activities together with users based on interests, strengths, and goals.
Supporting users in trying new tasks and developing skills, for example, in preparation for internships or work-oriented measures.
Collaborating with relatives, case officers, and other important people in the users' networks.
Contributing to a structured daily life and goal-oriented follow-up through clear and frequent documentation.
Contributing to developing the operation's directions and working methods over time.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who wants to create opportunities for others and who enjoys combining relationship work with daily structure and follow-up. You need to be patient and attentive, while working goal-oriented and showing perseverance in supporting the users' development. You see the charm in being part of developing the operation and can handle that not everything is finished. You have your own ideas and the ability to translate them into action, which aligns with the administration's value system – "We take responsibility all the way". You are welcome to use your personal interests to inspire and awaken engagement in users, which contributes to a meaningful daily life.

You have:

Relevant university degree, such as social worker, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
Experience of working with people with disabilities within LSS operations.
Good ability to collaborate and cooperate with networks around the users.
Interest in supervising, coaching, and highlighting people's strengths.
Good ability to work in a structured manner and take responsibility for documentation and follow-up.
Experience with low-affective interaction (low-arousal approach).

It is an advantage if you have:

Personal interests that can be integrated into the operation. Examples include board/online games, digital communities, playing music/theater/singing, exercise, and health.
Experience of supporting users to approach working life through methods such as SE (Supported Employment) or IPS (Individualized Support for Work).
Experience of collaboration/network work.
Good ability to use picture support, clarifying pedagogy.

You are confident in yourself, relationship-building, unpretentious, solution-oriented, and have a good ability to reflect on your own and others' attitudes. You enjoy creating meetings with others and want to be part of building an operation where participants' motivation and participation are central. We place great importance on personal competencies.
