Job Responsibilities

As a school social worker at Sofielund School, you will play a central role in student health work, working both preventively and proactively. You will lead the school's safety initiatives and use sociograms, mapping, and survey analyses as a basis for developing student health and safety work.

You will meet students and guardians in conversations and targeted interventions and be an important support for educators in matters concerning social and psychosocial needs. In the student health team, you will closely collaborate with the school nurse, special education teachers, school leadership, and work teams to create the best conditions for each student.

This is a role where you work both strategically and address urgent needs – and where your expertise makes a real difference.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker and has a genuine interest in working with the development of children and young people. Previous experience as a school social worker, studies in behavioral science or social pedagogy, and experience with digital record-keeping are considered advantageous.

As a person, you are empathetic and attentive. You have good communication skills and find it easy to build good relationships. You are solution-oriented and confident in handling complex situations, with a calm and stable approach.

Requirements

• You have a degree in social work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working as a school social worker.
• Studies in behavioral science or social pedagogy.
• Experience with digital record-keeping.
