Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• Wants to work with a 59-year-old man living in Tumba

• Has good knowledge of Swedish

• Has previous experience as a personal assistant

• Has experience with a cough machine and ventilator

• Has experience with stretching exercises

• Has experience with PEG

• Has good physical condition

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have a B driver's license

• Are a trained nursing assistant

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position encompasses 45%. We would also like you to be able to work extra if needed during the absence of regular staff, weekdays and weekends.

The work is scheduled during the day according to the following schedule:

Tuesdays 08:00–17:00

Thursdays 08:00–17:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
