We are looking for personal assistants for day and evening shifts as well as a part-time employee for waking night that can lead to a position for a 2.5-year-old girl with a tracheostomy in Mörby, Danderyd. The girl's needs require supervision and assistance around the clock from two assistants simultaneously, as the tracheostomy means she needs help with breathing. The girl also has a gastrostomy button for feeding.

The residence has good connections with the subway and buses, and the family home is conveniently located near Mörby center.

It is important that you are punctual and can keep time, but also flexible enough to occasionally step in to cover gaps in staffing. We see that you are a confident person and enjoy taking initiative, both independently and in collaboration with others in a group. You have a natural sense of the meaning of working in someone else's home and respectfully acknowledge the home environment in your role as an assistant.

Other requirements for you as an assistant in this assignment:

• You are a non-smoker.

• You have fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

• You can tolerate working in a home with a cat.

It is also desirable that you are active, as the family has an active daily life and enjoys going for long walks, and that you are cheerful and positive. The chemistry and interaction between you as an assistant and the client are crucial for the quality and experience of the work.

You will receive an introduction to the medical tasks at home and at LIVA - Nya Karolinska through both theoretical and practical training.

About the employment The employment is initially a part-time position, with the possibility of a fixed schedule for a certain period as long as the assignment lasts. We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreements (Fremia/Kommunal - Personal Assistance).

Working hours vary, and you are expected to be able to work based on the needs that arise in the schedule.

The selection process is ongoing, and more information about the assignment will be provided at a potential interview. Start date will be agreed upon. For employment with Novum Assistans, you are required to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service.

As you will be working with a child as a personal assistant, you are required to present a criminal record extract from the police before potential employment.
