About us

We are a wonderful team of a total of 7 social workers working in paramedicine at Capio S:t Görans Hospital, and together we have a broad competence and support each other. We are employed at the Medicine Clinic but work with several clinics (medicine, cardiology, emergency, anesthesia, surgery, and neurology). One of our colleagues is moving abroad, and we are looking for a replacement for her. We are looking for someone who is curious about working in both inpatient and outpatient care. There are good opportunities to try different areas, for example, by working in different clinics. The interventions are mainly acute and of a short-term nature. We have grown as a hospital but have maintained the "S:t Görans feeling" and have fun together within the team.

Your role

Your tasks mainly involve psychosocial treatment work of a crisis intervention and supportive nature for patients and relatives. The position also includes patient schools, staff support, and training for healthcare personnel. As a social worker at Capio S:t Görans Hospital, you will be part of Psychological Crisis Management (PKL) as a crisis supporter. We offer regular group supervision to the hospital's social workers. Supervising students is part of our mission, and we often hear from students that the supervision has been good. About you

We are looking for someone who is a social worker and preferably has experience in emergency care, further education such as step 1, or experience from social services. You find it easy to collaborate with others and get things done. You are comfortable handling different kinds of people and can easily adapt to new circumstances. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
