We at Humana are now looking for at least two personal assistants for a 19-year-old boy in Stånga, Gotland, who wants to work as summer substitutes in the summer of 2026. About the position

In the role of personal assistant, you will work closely with the customer and provide support in everyday life based on individual needs. Personal assistance is an effort according to LSS, where each customer is unique and the tasks vary.

The work may include assistance with transfers, personal care, training, communication, as well as daily chores and activities inside and outside the home. You will respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to a safe and smooth everyday life.

At Humana, it is important that both you as an assistant and the customer feel secure in the collaboration. Therefore, all new assistants receive a tailored introduction, both to the professional role and to the customer you will be working with.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a 19-year-old boy living in Stånga, Gotland

• Has good knowledge of Swedish, as communication is an important part of the job

• Has good physical condition, as the job involves transfers and some heavy lifting

• Has a B driver's license (automatic transmission car is sufficient)

• Can get to the customer by car as public transport is lacking

• Is tolerant of pets

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience working as a personal assistant

• Are a calm, secure, and flexible person

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer substitute with an employment rate of approximately 80–100%, depending on the schedule and agreement.

Employment period: June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026. Working hours vary and may include days and evenings, weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

There may be an opportunity to start earlier and work as a temporary substitute before the summer substitute position begins.
