About the position

In the role of personal assistant, you will work closely with the client and provide support in everyday life based on individual needs. Personal assistance is an intervention under LSS, where each client is unique and the tasks vary.

The work may include assistance with transfers, personal care, training, communication, as well as daily chores and activities in and outside the home. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy and contribute to ensuring that everyday life functions safely and smoothly.

At Humana, it is important that both you as an assistant and the client feel secure in the collaboration. Therefore, all new assistants receive a tailored introduction, both to the professional role and to the client you will be working with.

We are now looking for you who meet the following:

• Want to work with a 53-year-old man living in Stånga, Gotland

• Have good knowledge of Swedish, as communication is an important part of the job

• Have a B driver's license (an automatic car is sufficient)

• Have access to your own car, as public transport is lacking to the client

• Can tolerate pets, as there is a cat in the home

It is also advantageous if you:

• Have experience of similar work in care and support

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

Summer substitute: employment rate of about 80–100% (depending on schedule and agreement) Employment period: June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026

The working hours refer to day shifts. The day shifts include 7 hours of on-call duty during the night.

Hourly substitute (permanent): as needed, mainly day shifts according to agreement.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date: there may be an opportunity to start earlier and work as an hourly substitute before the summer substitute begins.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
