We are now looking for you who want to work as a substitute preschool teacher at Idun Preschools.

All our preschools work exploratively, inspired by Reggio Emilia's educational philosophy. Your Role

Our preschools are looking for substitutes for regular staff during unplanned absences. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is flexible and can work shifts that arise at short notice. You may be offered shifts at any of our eight preschools depending on where the need arises. Sometimes, needs may also arise in the preschool kitchen.

As a preschool teacher, you are an important part of the teams that ensure that everyday life at the preschool functions well and that care and daily educational work are based on children's participation and choices. Together with other colleagues at the preschool, you contribute to creating a positive, meaningful, and developing environment for each child and for the entire group of children. You are active in your relationship with the children and in their play. In meetings with guardians, you maintain good communication and act professionally and service-oriented. As a preschool teacher with us, you act in accordance with the curriculum, set goals, policies, and guidelines.

Your Competence and Experience

You need to have:

• Experience working in preschool

It is an advantage if you have:

• Preschool teacher education or started preschool teacher education
• Experience working in a preschool kitchen
• Experience working with children with disabilities
• Availability to work every weekday

As a person, you are engaged, flexible, and self-driven. You have a clear child focus and an interest in contributing to children's development and learning. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude towards your work and your team. You communicate clearly and can adapt to your audience. You have good collaboration skills and interact with children, colleagues, and guardians in a responsive and professional manner.

Other

To work in our preschools, you must provide a certificate from the Police's criminal records. You will order the certificate yourself, and it is valid for one year.
