About the Assignment:

A 10-year-old boy with autism, ADHD, and mild intellectual disability living in Täby Kyrby with his family. He is very active and is looking for a companion who can keep up with his pace. His verbal communication is limited; he can answer simple questions but cannot hold a conversation. He enjoys taking the bus or train to playgrounds, visiting play centers (Leos or Yoump), going into the city, or eating at Max or McDonald's. He is also open to mountain biking in the local area.

He requires preparation for transitions between different activities. The family works a lot with positive reinforcement and provides various types of reinforcers to encourage certain behaviors and possibly redirect negative behaviors. Since he lacks risk awareness, it is important that you can identify potential dangers and redirect.

Your Qualifications:

• Fluent in Swedish
• Experience working in schools with children with special needs
• Pedagogical but can set boundaries when necessary
• Playful
• Ability to assist during toilet visits

About the Position:

26 hours/month, Sundays from 11 AM to 5 PM. Start as soon as possible.

As a companion, you will accompany a client with a disability on various activities. This may involve shopping, visiting museums, or perhaps having a coffee.
