Are you our new much-anticipated assistant?

We are looking for substitutes as needed; for the right person, there is an opportunity for a permanent position in the basic schedule.

We are now looking for attentive and warm female assistants for our client in Hägersten. Our client is a man in his 50s who lives with his wife in an apartment in Hägersten. He needs support in his daily life after acquiring a brain injury with severe epilepsy.

Assistance is provided around the clock, and shifts are scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Daytime assistance is provided with double support. We expect you to be able to work independently as well as be part of a team.

As an assistant, you should be calm, attentive, flexible, and take great responsibility for your tasks. You need to have good physical fitness and enjoy providing good care. Your tasks will include some documentation and, of course, communication with the client and others in the client's vicinity. Therefore, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and preferably English. Your work will involve helping the client with what he cannot do, which includes assistance with household chores, transfers, personal hygiene, cleaning, and laundry. It also means accompanying the client on visits and activities outside the home, such as medical appointments and daily activities.

We prefer that you have experience working as a personal assistant, but the most important thing is that you have a positive attitude, are reliable, meticulous, caring, and willing to learn. It is an advantage if you have previous experience with providing nutrition via PEG, using inhalers/PEP masks, and other aids such as lifts, wheelchairs/power wheelchairs, and MotoMed, etc.

For the right person, there is a possibility of a position of about 80%.
